I got an old webley osprey side lever air rifle which still gets dug out for a shoot every now and then.. spring is getting a tad lazy now but then I had it at least 10 years so god knows how old it is Th Osprey was introduced in 1975.

I remember an air gun my mate had when I was younger. It was a pistol but extended back a long way behind the handle & had a tiny stubby barrel that you slipped a plastic sleeve over to cock. It was stupidly powerfull & would split bit's of 2x4"! Any idea what it was?

No pistols but theres been a few rifles floating about here. My bro's all bought themselves one but I didn't see the point when dad already two in the cabinet These were a BSA (cadet something I think) .177 and a little Webley .177. They're both getting on a bit, dad had them as a kid and I don't think they were new then! I've got another .22 that was given to me and my brothers as kids for watering a neighbours garden when he was away. It had been chucked in a dusty corner for years as it had lost its puff. I 'rediscovered' it last year and it was only the gasket that seals the barrel that had fell out Made a new one and gave it a once over and it's up and running again, but could ideally do with a new spring I reckon. Not sure what it is tho, as it's only marked series 70 model 76 and no make There's also a pnuematic Sharp somewhere. Takes half a dozen pumps to prime, by which time you're knackered and / or the bunny's run off anyway!

ive had a few air guns over the years,.22 bsa mercury( i think), that was good fun also had an air arms side lever thing, was a lot like the hi-power/jackal that was metioned earlir but was a bit different, cant think what the model was , maybe firepower or somthing also had a few pistols. all spring guns though. 5 or 6 years back i decided to get another air gun, got a few co2 powered ones, they're great for just mucking about with empty cans etc, as they have magazines so no messing reloadin after each shot. i have an anics skif, holds a mag with 28 pellets in it and one co2 bulb will do a fair few mags- about 5 or 6 iirc ( not played with em for ages, would shoot through a quality street tin easily also got a cp99 compact, its the smaller version of the cp99 , only fires metal bbs, no pelets but holds a fair few and has a blowback slide will go through both sides of an aerosol no probs ( always keep my old deoderant cans etc for target practice ;D) have a crossman nightstalker rifle, holds a bigger co2 bottle and fires 1.77, mag holds 10 and can shoot as quick as ya pull the trigger, most fun is my drozd, its kinda like a pistol with a removable stock, takes batteries as it has an electronic firing doodah, its semi auto , but the usa get the same gun but in full auto, all thats different is a switch need putting across part of the circuit board, allit takes is 5 mins with a soldering iron and it you were that way inclined could have a full auto air rifle, also will do urst of 3 or full auto and different speeds up to 1200rpm of course, ya cant do it here as thats naughty have a couple of gas powered softair guns too, ones a m11 full auto mag holds 50 plastic bbs and will empty it in about 2 secs, the other ones a glock 18c with a few upgrades, metal slide, spare mag and hiflow valves for the gas, hurts like curse word ;D only place i have to shoot them now thogh is in my garage and i stopped doing that when i realised the odd pellet wou ricochet and smack cars
