I have a mrk 1 uno ,but would like to put cossie wheels on 8j will they fit or will I have to hack the archs Cossie wheels are the wrong stud pattern completely so would need adapters. I got some 15x8 wheels under the standard arches but you wouldn't be able to lower it much. They'd have to be the perfect offset too its pretty tight. Matt

Quick last update with the new wheels. Not sure if they're staying yet, I really like them but not sure if they'll clear the brakes. Hopefully the next update will be a bit better. The garage is nearly ready for the car, then the grinders coming out and the floor is disappearing. Plans so far Tube frame built into car using standard sills. as mounting points Multipoint rollcage tied into Full flat floor. Independed rear suspension (single wishbone & strut) with custom hubs Ford Mondeo ST200 Engine & Gearbox (bought) Fiat Coupe 310mm front disks & Brembo calipers (bought) Uno Turbo Rear disks and calipers (bought) Custom coilovers all round (made) Theres loads more stuff. Will update as I make progress. Matt

Looking great; miss the Mirafiori wheels - a bit of lineage and a lot of class. Get em refurbed I say...

I like that Matt, though the previous set did make it look quite "hard"

Yeh I love the Mirafiori wheels too. They won't go over the brakes though, even the 14" ones which is a shame. Might try and find some smaller brakes, as I reckon the 310mm ones might be an overkill.

I reckon I should be OK. Picking the engine & box up on Wednesday so gonna try and get that propped in at some point in the next couple of weeks.
I'm not working till next Saturday, i'll try and get over to pick it up though.

The Uno looks sweet Matt. I like the most recent wheels you've fitted on it. I guess we'll see what it looks like with tires and all. And i see you've messed around with the exhaust. with different sounds and whatnot. Have you thought about putting in an electric solenoid (like mk4 vw R32's) at a Y-pipe, so you can switch the exhaust from inside the car from a quiet note, on one side of the car, to a loud note on the other side? or something similar to that idea...
