Okay we're going to The Retro Car Show, and we're displaying.
Club tickets are £6.50 each, and you can bring a car in. I need to order them all at once. So I'll be booking them at the end of May (assuming thats within the deadline). What I need to know is who is going, and what you going in.
I'll be there, but only in my Mk3 Golf (unless by some miracle I buy something before) so won't be displaying a car.
I want to make a really nice display, kind of got a basic version worked out in my head, but it depends on car numbers. I Also want to do A2 information boards about each car. But we'll work that out when we know whose coming.
OVERSEAS People, I'll do a display of other Forum Cars as well, so if you can't make it never fear, I'll get information about your cars and get it up on there.

I'm definately heading across to the show now, so if you think my Golf is worthy enough to go on display, I'd love to put it there!

I won't be there when you cross the road, so always use the Green Cross Code.

Just checked the diary. You can add one 104ZS to the display. It's not "mint" btw, hope this doesn't matter. The Samba Rallye's gone to a more loving home so its down to the one car now.

Fantastic! The bodywork and interior is OK, but the wheels need a refurb really and I haven't got the cash at the moment...
I expect you'll have thought/be thinking about all this, but a headed a4 sheet with the logo on stuck in the window of each car with some words from the owner is always nice!

When and where is the show? It probably says here and I've missed it, I'm mithered at work... apparently I'm supposed to be working... Could bring the Golf or Polo along, maybe my brothers Bug or one of our Type2's?

Ooh... sounds I'll be there too (hopefully) but will be in the G/f's Type25..... (not that the Audi would really count.... not unless it was a bit less 'rounded off'

If you fancy sticking it in the display would certainly add even more variety ,.. also a great place to stick a big banner

If my Cortina is still on the road then I'll happily bring it along. However, it might be making way for the mk3 Escort cabrio which I think is too young for the show. Having said that, it is modified in the retro style.
Period model sports stickers (so it looks like an RS 1600i) Modern 2.0ltr Zetec (half way through fitting) Sports suspension (and I don't just mean a lowering kit) And a whole host of other stuff.
But it's an '85 model though.
As for the Camper, that has no MOT at present (would probably pass) and would cost too much in petrol to get there as it's running a bit poor.
