if there was a six inch spike in the center of every new cars steering wheel pionting at the driver then there would be alot less accidents... You reckon?,As quick as it took some poof driving a plastic micra jag to slip a condom on his steering wheel spike there would be a prang as he would be too busy looking out the back window ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/tongue.png) ;D ![:o](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/shocked.png)

Many years ago I changed my driving style to cope with rising fuel prices; I have now reached the stage where I am contemplating keeping my eyes shut in order to lower wind resistance.

I'm sure that most would agree that they would rather not read such things on what is, after all, a forum with very young readers. No no! you got it wrong ,it's luvvly dearths.Imagine a perfectly goergousth shade of lilac and pink wheels trimsth. ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/tongue.png) ,(to be read with a limp wrist action) ![](http://i23.ebayimg.com/03/i/03/f9/2b/76_1_b.JPG) ![:(](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/sad.png) *n

I agree with Penski and Impjimbo on this one, freedom of speech is one thing but there's no need to be slinging that sort of offensive, baseless stereotype rubbish round here, that's not what the forum's for. Besides, I know a few gay people and they're not like the stereotype at all, and they don't deserve slagging off for something that is just part of who they are and isn't doing anyone any harm. Come on, I'm happy to listen to your opinions about old cars (it is what this site is about), but not to people slagging off people that aren't doing anyone any harm.

I thought I was alone in thinking 5th gear was dull....I do like it when they crash things into things...i.e Rover 800's into lamp-posts, but its largely humourless.
VBH does add some much need glamour to what is a fairly lifeless car program.
Top Gear on the other hand is fun. And immature. And rude, and occasionally offensive. Which all adds up to decent entertainment. Its not perfect though, especially when clarkson licks up to certain celebrities - like Jordan or some codger he knows from the past.
Not sure where a female presenter would fit into the new Top gear without being used as a token gesture. I would not like to see Jodie Kidd on TG, despite her impressive driving abilities. But I reckon Lisa Rogers would be most welcome on there...... ;D

Jodie Kidd on TG would be great.
If we're going for Models, can we get Gemma Ward?
