you may remember my 71 hc from a while ago well here it is now just before it goes to Marks place to be repaired and painted when he finishes the Kadett, its good to have a mate like Mark to help and you've seen what he can do so you now what its going to come out like and I can not wait.  Igot so excited I couldn't wait to leave work and start stripping it down !!!!!!!!  |

Thats will be a nice look, shame you will not be able to turn the steering wheel  Cheap way to make it lower, let it rust for a few years. |

finaly made a start on the HC today generally its in very good shape roof and boot have some pretty heavy patina (must be a vauxhall thing) but theres very little welding needed just top of the inner front drivers wing spare wheel well and I little bit on the front of the drivers sill . there are new fiberglass front wings to go on but to be honest i'm not keen on them as the are the flat top type and fiberglass wings always need lots of fettling to make them look right. the car onlky really needs the drivers side front wing replacing but the car has the early peaked wing tops . so if anybody has a good peaked top type front drivers side wing i'm sure paul would be very interested . :  :  :  :  :  :  :  :  :  :  :  :  :  :  :  :  :  |

dude you were only at the shop a couple of hours before how bloody fast do you go anywho don't look as bad as i thought it might accept the spare wheel well haven't had the spare out in years i will see you at the workshop Saturday.

Cheap way to make it lower, let it rust for a few years. Wouldn't work... if the bodywork rusts away, then the car would get lighter and as of that higher ;D |
