Who is going from down this corner of the country? I'll step up to the plate and start this off because I want to make sure I get some tickets before they go on general sale.

Cheeqi 1 - Fri and Sat camping Cheeqi 2 - Fri and Sat camping HoTWire - Hotel probably black8driver - Hotel? Frankenhealey - Hotel as well as my back can't take camping JDMboy - Sat camping theundertaker - Fri and Sat camping I'm gonna do little/no research and go with johnnysomersets cut off for payment and initial ticket order of 21/04/08 and £10 + £1 for postage/paypal tax. I'd prefer paypal payments if at all possible, pm me for info regarding cheques/postage orders. Paypal is littleyellowbox@btinternet.com, please put your username and name and address in the notes box so that I know where to send them to and pm me to let me know you've paid. HoTWire - Sorry if I've missed it but is there a way to pay for the tickets through paypal? Do I need to get your monies from you and then give them back to you so that you can send me a ticket to send back to you?

Cheeqi,
is it OK if my clubmates join us at RR08?
That would be another V8 Healey and two Toyota Sprites.
That means 4 tickets altogether and £44 by Paypal if I've worked it out OK.
Cheers,
Ian

May have to pull out chaps After the debacle of the stuck throttle at Castle Combe we diagnosed a lifter problem due to overrevving and lo and behold we discover a collapsed lifter. Take it out, fix it and re-assemble top end and the d@mn tinkle/clunk is still there. Drop the sump at the weekend and we find that due to low oil pressure both #7 and #8 big ends have run to the point that the rod ends got so hot they've turned blue. Was collecting bits for a winter rebuild to cure the low oil pressure but hadn't counted on new crank as well Watch this space 'cos I'm calling in favours from all over.

Best of British Ian, sure hope you get something sorted, still looking forward to seeing the Healey in the tin.

With a fair wind and crossed fingers I shall be coming again I looked at a rebuild but with bits of shell infesting every nook and cranny of the block, the oil galleries, along with a shagged crank, defunct con rods and the most knackered oil pump you have ever seen I decided (very bravely) to tell her indoors (one day she will speak to me again ) that I was raiding the holiday and conservatory fund for a new motor. Knowing Daryl from Fastco and the fact he had a pre-built 383, that another customer had defaulted on so was 'cheap', led me to take this baby off his hands I've had to mod the sump, re-spec the water pump, the alternator, the inlet, carb and filter and the fuel pump to get in in the Healey and hopefully it will be in the car end-July / early August

Excellent news dude, that looks as pretty as a very pretty thing and I'm sure the wife will be as impressed as I am given time/presents/her own way! Incidentally, I drove a Healey for the first time today, a BJ8 and I really enjoyed it
