;D
heres the ongoing story of my beloved heap..
as bought brand new in 2002 ! always breaking down for ever in the shop but still enjoyable... all 28mph of it
finally fitted a c70 motor and got some reliability in it and used it for commuting and everything till it literally fell to bits at a monkeybike rally !
So decided after seeing everyones nice shiny bikes I got some rattle cans stripped it to nothing and did a full replaint and cleanup
didnt like the exhaust but the new c90 motor and carb I did like !! so fitted monkey pipe instead
again rode it into the ground even picking up rat-bike and longest distance travelled to get there by bike trophy at monkeyjam 2006 at Poole
The ride to poole had showed me issues with the bike such as diddy tank and the gaffer tape seat was beginnign to chaff a bit so I decided a fwe mods were in order..
First of all I fitted gear indicator lights to show what gear I'm in as I was always in the wrong gear or tryig to change up into gears I didnt have
then decided to change the tank and seat so as to imprive range and comfort
had to reposition the battery and electrics a bit and weld some mounts to the frame
first reshape.. not happy as bars now looked stupid
Pitbike hybrid exhaust started to get on my nerves so tried something brave and turned it into this popping and backfiring monster !
Word then came my way of a huge 152cc engine up for grabs in pitbike land so I grappled with the bank manager and bought this to put in the bike
152cc-4 plate clutch-r20 cam-high comp TJR barrel and piston-ported head-vm26 carburettor
had nightmares again as for some reason the front wheel wouldnt stick to the ground anymore but now on runs I was averaging 65-70mph cruising speed with a reasonable bit more for overtaking
bought a cheapo OOR racing pipe which was great apart from it glowing at tickover due to the CC
, I have now fitted a Over Racing titanium pipe to it and at present thats how it stands...
