	I suppose I'm just tight then lol I ordered an Ax GT 1/18 Otto model and it cost a fair whack, and I saw a modified one done badly and it ruined it yet cost more!! The guy who bought it was not best pleased lol I'd never have the patience or guts to do it to anything in my collection although that said a new set of wheels on my UT Escort Cossie would be cool but I love the originals as well lol

	Not tight, its just having the guts to do it. I'm not the richest of folk, but I needed the engine out of the Cossie so I just got on with it and stripped it I do regret it looking back though, lol! But, the Cossie is moving on to bigger and better things in the newly born Project P*ss Off The Purists has began. Its going to be modified in a completely custom way. Ive never seen a diecast modifed how I want this one to look so keep your eyes out for progress

	Really like the 240 Mark, looks awesome, and here are a couple more from me, now they never made a poverty spec mk3 escort in 1/18th, but i found a way introducing my 1.1L poverty spec mk3 and the other end of the scale, another series 1 turbo i am doing cheers robin

	thanks chap Evolution of my Breakdown wagon what started like as a cheapo plastic dog of a toy... believed to be made by Hongwell and someone had nicked my lightbar... but a lick of some Ford Forest Green afew other bits i had about the yard.. then came more bits.. light bars etc found more bits and lit that baby up :lol: and night

	ok some more messing, dropped on some porsche alloys to make it a little more realistic, and as you couldnt see the rear lghts also added the tank everyone knows smaller wheels means its closer to the ground.. lol, used tubes on th axles to stop the wheels flying about.. quiet impressed for my first rat-rod, front wheels from Golf Mk1

	I've been making my way through this thread for the last couple of nights and been super inspired! I used to love model making as a kid and always had a burago model on the go. The last model I tried was when I was about 12. It was a Tamiya 1.24 R33 GTR and it went a bit wrong. I'm now looking for some kits to get me started again. Does anyone apart from burago do metal kits at reasonable money? Also, what kind of bits am I going to need to make my first model in years? What's the best glue, paint etc to go for?!
	My cars always write cheques that my wallet can't cash...
