Set my tent up today in the back garden to check it over as it hasn't been used for an extremely long time (look at the colour scheme!) and I'm missing a few tent pegs. There's also a few holes in the floor need taping up. So I'll be sorting that out.  Might be an idea for you to check your tent before the show and perform any required repairs. |

Tesco are selling 2 man tents for £5 (they were last week anyway) and ADSA have a few 3 mann tents with small porchs to for £15 just incase you need one!  |

Or,for those extravagent campers, halfords were selling ones with a covered area (big enough for a small car  ) and a tent area either side, with 2 blow up matresses for £75. |

i got one off the mum, unused aswell, was gonna borrow her 20-odd year old vango 4 man tent, still worth a few hundred aswell ;D  wouldnt walk into it at night |

I didn't know tents were this cheap, otherwise I probably wouldn't be bothering with my taped-up "Carry On Camping" one! I've grown somewhat attached to it thanks to the positive comments though, so Retro Tent it is!

We've just had a successful trial weekend away on our new beast, hence forth possibly known as the mansion. I think we might out-orange you as well Hirst   Feckinell! Do you hire it out for weddings when you're not using it?! Me and Street have an ex-Boy Scout tent. Not tested as I've been way too busy with my car, but if necessary the Benz isn't *that* uncomfortable. ;D |

Like the gipnackpaddywack that I am I swindled a 4-man tent of freecycle months ago for exactly this purpose. Tested too. KUMFY.
