Do the cars running in the RWYB sprint have to have tax and insurance? We want to take the Pug up for it's first run but my dad doesn't want to tax/insure it if he doesn't have to, rather just trailer it up. It's MOTed and road-legal and obviously tax isn't needed legally and no standard insurance would cover it due it it being a race track.

We are sorting out the final details of things like this at the moment, and we'll announce details as soon as its 100%.
However, your car wont need tax or insurance. and its likely that pricing will be calculated on 'runs' as opposed to 'cars'. So if you make three runs, you'll pay for 3 runs, which you can make in 1, 2, or 3 cars.

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

Maybe I am just being blind, but I can't see any prices on the site? or is that TBC? Anyway I am well up for taking the Sierra on the sprint, it will probably be the slowest of the day

Any more info on this yet?
Do we need to show competition licences / normal licences / will there be scrutineering / do we need race suits / helmets etc.?

Thinking of taking the starion on the track if reanimations taking the fezza, but just looked it up and I'll be in the class with up to 2000cc forced induction. bet that means I'll definately be the slowest there I don't wanna push my car,or wear the tyres and brakes either cos I gotta get home on them Is everyone else here gonna be seriously pushing it or will there be plenty of people doing it for the lark?

I'm gonna nail it hard, but in a light hearted sense. Don't care if I do well, but I'm gonna smoke em up.

I reckon i'm in with a chance of taking the slowest over 2000cc time. Should be good for comedy value though
