So how does meeting at donnington services sound then.
This will be good for all the midlands peeps, and those coming onto the M1 via the M42/M5 Etc

Hah, I have almost all of August off this year, will try to be there. Travelling from Glomfjord, Norway ;D Ahaha We could team up and go togheter? I'm starting a tread on Norwegian forums where we plan a 14-21 days road-trip where the goal is this meeting... Maybe try to hit a meeting in Germany too, go to automotive museums on the road and other things that we could take a closer look into... From Oslo it's ca. 2100 km to Leicestershire. Might be worth noting that Donnington (30 minutes up the Motorway from Mallory) has an excellent motor museum.

Agree with you on that, it's something we can work out nearer the time...will need to stagger departure/arrival times so we don't end up in a gigantic Retro gridlock and all get Mullered before we even get in ;D

chaps, I know people have said you can leave it till nearer the time but for our 'official' meeting places we need to sort them soon so we can announce it to people who arent on the forum etc.
My thoughts at present are meeting points at Newport Pagnell (J14, M1) South Mimms (where A1 and M25 meet) Birchanger Green (Bishop Stortford (J8?) M11) Boreham Service (Boreham A12) Thurrock Services (M25) Fleet Services (M3) Reading Services (M4)
That covers those coming from the South/South East.
SO - can people coming from that area let me know what they think of those points.
And can some who lives to the East of Birmingham propose some meeting points please, ideally about 45miles/minutes apart on a major road with a service station.
Likewise, can someone who lives up north propose some places to meet.
Cheers Guys!

How about these for the South West/South Wales crews:
South West: Belstone Services A30 Okehampton (the BP garage with the cafe) Exeter Services M5 Sedgemoor Services M5 Michaelwood Services M5 Vale Truckstop A46 between Tewkesbury and Evesham
South Wales Cardiff Gate M4 First Services Symonds Yat A449 Vale Truckstop A46 between Tewkesbury and Evesham (meet up with South West convoy)
From there it's a straight hour's run up the A46 via Evesham, Stratford, over the M40, Warwick, then onto the Coventry Eastern By-Pass, which fires you straight onto the M69, turn left onto the A5, and turn R at Hinckley for Mallory Park.
