Posting for a friend At 1.30 today in broad daylight this bus was towed off a drive in Welling, Kent by a white "traveller" pick up transit. The registration was DJT 525A all though it's a 1958, it was mango green/seagull grey rhd 11 window it was not in A1 condition but it was still road worthy. Please keep your eye's open for this one so we may be able to return to it owner. The lady owner would like it back. you can contact James on 0208 317 3135 EDIT: added pics

Why is there such a huge demand for them amongst the underworld?

Those are the details I was told/had to copy and paste from VZI. Sorry for being vague

Why is there such a huge demand for them amongst the underworld? Simply because they reach such astonomical figures due to lifestyle / scene tax. It's not very hard to strip one out and sell the internals via eBay, then a quick attack on the vin-number and a coat of grey primer and it's a "solid RHD import for restoration.... £7000 ono". Easy money.

i allready know what happened, a friend saw one of my cars that was in a storage unit on the back of a recovery truck going into a scrap metal yard by the time i got there it was a block. i didnt think posting it up would be relavant as ive found it and hopefully this split has not been taken by the same people as I'm local to the area.

I guess no security fitted to this one either? Sadly, not much in the way of security defeats travellers with a truck or hi-ab. You can remove bits, lock bits, alarm bits but it only takes 20 seconds to lift it. Cheap blowover and a family size tub of filler and you've just made £20k....
