this is my new car,i just imported it from japan its got basic mods that include a 6 point cage, cusco braces, trd lsd,trd suspension, trd leads, air filter and exhaust, some front bumper ive not identified yet and may change it I'm waiting on registration so it can get road tested properly but it runs and drives great in the yard I'm still after a few other 70s and 80s J machines so i should be around for a while

I'm not sure what to do about the bumper,i think filling in the two holes along the bottom may improve the looks, i don't really want to put a normal one on to make it look initial d

Welcome to RR! That looks beautiful! No better colour for these IMO What was your experiences with importing from the land of the rising sun? Was it cost effective?

It wont look Inital D with a std bumper on as... Its all white, its a Kouki spec rather than Takumi's Zenki spec and its don't pack a 11k reving 20valve If you not happy with the bumper try and source a Goodline front bumper. Looks great on these. looke here... www.eight-six.co.ukwww.aeu86.orgwww.ae86drivingclub.com

its 85 which makes it zenki doesnt it?kouki is 86 87,I'm a member on aeu86 already and i might join up to the au one. most people that don't own one wouldnt know about the 20v thing(lots of people seem to think its an na supra engine that gets put in the initial d car),already I'm used to people calling it the takumi car and its not even on the road yet,I'm sure thats going to bug the hell out of me,especialy as I'm trying to build it grip style oh well perhaps i shouldnt have got a white one lol
