I present to you the Japanese version of the Opel Kadett C, well my version anyway
I've owned this car for about 4 years now and have been working away on this incarnation for about 2.5 years of that. It's so close to being done, now, just need some new brake hoses on the front and I'm all legal and on the road.

At the moment I'm still running in the new engine so the rev limit has been set at 5500rpm. I'm hoping it will rev out to at least 7000rpm when it's done. One reason for this is that first gear, if you give it stick, is virtually non existant. With the current box and diff ratios and the light flywheel, the engine hits the 5500rpm rev limit in about 1 second!!
So it's on a base tune at the moment for the running in and is making 106kw at the rear wheels on 12psi. That's about 140rwhp if I'm right, so I calculate about 170hp from the engine, which isn't too bad. I'm hoping to get up to at least 180rwhp when it's all run-in and tuned up.
