As said new wheels look far better than the previous efforts.

Just purchased a set of 14x9 and 14x10 steels for it!

ok so had a go at mock fitting the steels i got for it....... the 10 inch ones fit horribly because of the crazy offset they have, so ill be putting the 9 inch on the rear which fit perfectly and the 10 inch ones will be getting cut up and put on the front. heres some pics and in this pic you can see the 9inch ones on the rear fit great so thats what ill do and hack front ones down a bit to fit

AWESOME!!! I'm hoping to do something similar when I get some funds for a VAN Can't believe your going to make those wheels narrower though, kind of sacrilege ;D I hope you don't mind me posting a Pic I snapped in Japan last year as it kind of fits in with the whole cool Mitsi van inspiration

you kiwi's are mad for vans!
L300's get cut up for the front suspension and steering for hot rods here in Aus. how do they drive when they're lowered? Every Japanese "white van" I've ever driven was gutless and felt cheap and nasty to drive, whether it was a Hiace, Lite ace, Mazda etc.

Man, that's great! Since we've had the kids I've often thought about a bay or a splitty for not-holidays-but-trips-to-the-beach-with-sleeping-and-cooking-possibilities... That hits all the spots: 1) Looks cool 2) Probably not a fortune to create 3) Entirely practical and spares are probably not an issue Hmmmm... thinking cap on
