The coupees are ridiculously overpriced too, in my opinion Nice car, nice colour! Maybe I should have stock piled them when they were cheap. Mine cost £350 with a full ticket, plus another sunroof one that cost £50 and I missed a tidy (untested) one for £75! Oh to have forsight. And a barn Sweet ride tho spyke wants to put a chevette front end on a coupe that could work quite well if you hear of any other cheap coupes let us know

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

Love these cars. Learned to drive and passed my test in one back in '84. Can't wait to see how this one develops

Forgive me for my lack of knowledge in this area, but does the Vauxhall front panels simply bolt to the existing holes of the Opel?
The reason I don't know, is because I'm in Canada, where we never got the "good" versions of the old T-body, yet strangely enough, I have the urge to build one, and I was thinking about trying to import the front panels of Kadett actually (prefer it to most others).
Course, if I get one, I plan on cramming a Suzuki V6 into it as well...mmm..alloy V6.

Thank you for the information man! I hadn't thought about the front panel really before, but it makes a lot of sense that I would need it for such a conversion. Now, to get out and find a good one! Oh, and I wish you good luck, and for good ideas in times of frustration

managed to get a couple of small jobs done on the kadett over the weekend ged swapped a couple of tires over as it had been fitted rather scarily with crossplys so the new tires brought the fron down a couple of inches but it still looked like it had had a row with its wheels so ged hit it with the stick ;D kadett with its rather second hand door and newly dropped front ;D : today while I was priming up the van I primed up the new passenger door Karen had bare metaled in the morning to replace the misshapen fubar'd one :

What do you use to cut the rot out leaving those neat "windows" Mark? - looks like it leaves no distortion. Just a cutting disc?
