Rargh, painting is the best bit. Really transforms the car from an old shed to shiny again. Most satisfying!

I went to the body shop again to day and very little progress has been made he has only painted the front panel and isn't happy with that so is going to knock it back and repaint it again i'm pulling my teeeth out with anticipation!

Right the car has been painted, but not the doors, boot, and bonnet yet (there being done today/tomorow). I will say i'm so so happy with the result its a great job but i don't think i'm going to post any pics up untill it looks more complete as i think it will ruin the impact and my camera phone isn't up to the detail (i have a very good digital camera that i will use) and will only be detrimental to the quality of the job. This post may seem a little pointless but its really just to update progress although i know you lot will want pics you will have to wait......

Not pointless at all, glad to hear it looking good with the primer on, so smooooooth Also, wheres this respray guy, and how much is he charging you for the full respray(if that's not a rude question)? Answer in PM if that's cool, I'm just trying to compile a comparison of places for when the time comes
