Clean and simple looks best on these I think the new colour isn't a million miles off from the colour it is just a bit less greeny blue still undecided on how i want the stripes as yet but will be playing about with them while its in the stock colour before committing to anything either way this one will be getting a pretty clean look either way

That's looking much better for the lowering! Have the mirrors got flat or convcave glass in them? Might be interested if they're curved (flat are nigh on useless

Looking very cool. Always liked the cokebottle shape of the hb's.
Wheels look spanking!

I never did respond to your question in my other thread, sorry 'bout that. I've checked some of my usual sources for the grill but HB Toranas aren't exactly common, even down here. I can keep my eyes peeled though if you like.
Couple of local swap meets in the not too distant future though, how much are you willing to spend??

you still got those wingie mirrors? I was working under bonnet of mine and moved the miror to get better access from side of car, then slammed bonnet closed at end of day Crushing said mirror flat !!!! Flippin eck.... so yours would be very welcome... assume they same sort of style as mine (see pic of mine): different style but all very good condition with only very minor pitting on the shafts they are i bit dirty in the pics but karen has just cleaned them up and they look realy good now

If it helps my father-in-law owns Rex Spares which is the Perth (Western Australia) distributor for Rare Spares www.rarespares.net.au/rexspares PM me and let me know what you need and I can email him direct and get some prices for you As long as the part is still available they should be able to get it - and they do more than just what's on the website.

How does it ride now?...after I lopped a few coils off my old HB it was an absolute dog (to the point of being dangerous!) - I was under the impression that the geometry meant that the rate of the springs was much softer when you shorten the standard springs.
It looks blinkin' fantastic by the way!

It looks blinkin' fantastic by the way! dunno not driven it any further than in and out of the workshop and thats a task in its self ;D front end is as stiff as you can go its firmly on the bump stops ;D ;D to be honest i only cut it down to see how i want it to sit. now all i have to do is rework it to suit front will need much heavier springs and shocks and a reworked bump stop and the rears will also need stiffer springs and shocks but it at least has more clearance so the stops will be fine but rest assured that is the hight and stance its keeping ;D

just don't like the square lights but they will have to stay till I can get a torana grill I don't mind the square lights...maybe some black paint might change the look? I did the same to mine...but I had no centre bar and put a Viva script from the wing in the centre.
