That is a stunner! I remember my dad having a pale blue one (RUB 439G) and a beige one (PTO 715M) when I was a kid.(strange I can remember the reg numbers even now) Quarter bumpers, stick and Lotus steels FTW! For some reason I can see 7X13 Alleycats working on that as well.

would look soo much cooler i think slammed on banded steelies with them cool hubcaps it has , had a mk2 estate when i was 16 , i never did much with it tho

How are things progressing on this, any action yet...!!! Instead of going Cossie powered how about slotting a Zetec in the engine bay (?) as I hear they're pretty darn good and can be dressed up to look like an old Lotus twin-cam lump... Also, with regards to the wheels, how about some Dunlop D1's for that ultimate 70's look...?! Anyhow, I hope this build gathers momentum some time soon...
