I was drunk I know and I deserve all the abuse I am about to get, its a bit "soft" in places as well as being the ugliest thing I have ever seen. TBH its going to need a FULL restoration, new floors, inner wings, one outer wing, loads of outer body plates, a full engine build new brakes and re wiring.... what the heck was I drinking when I bid? More pics here (warning, the following contains images of a disturbing nature) www.annteak.com/viva/?page_id=349

To get this to a state where one can decide what to do, I will need to spend a day or so removing all the interior and floors (wooden floors), so I can get back to the metal and wire brush it to hell and back. The outer panels are not load bearing nor structural in anyway so they can be pop riveted ripple plate after I have cut the old stuff out. The real bug is the front firewall and wings, these are simple flat metal plates, which is good, but they are rotten and or missing some cases, its not beyond me to fix this up, but should I spend the time doing it up whilst the engines I have planned to rebuild sit to one side and my other cars continue to hibernate? Ohhh for the want of a workshop. If ist any good I have till next Monday off work, so if anyone near Nuneaton has a welder and wants some fun your welcome to visit and laugh. Here is the worst parts: Freddie Flintstone Innerwings what inner wings:

I like it... Would make a nice project for somebody who can weld but doesn't like to do any to complicated panelbeating. I''m sure it would get a lot of smiles if it was on the road in nice shinny red

Sad news to report, I have removed the front floor to find NO cross chassis rail!!! I also removed the center floor to find the cross rail is missing as well,! the pile of wibblepoo under the car is all that is left of the chassis cross rails.... AKA typical land rover thing
I havent removed the rear floor given up
I have also noted that the engine is beyond repair and needs removing, BUT one has to remove the body to get access....Took rocker cover off Valves and spring broken and rusted.
So with all that in mind its off to scrap... sorry to say folks another dead warrior....
OH well back to the HA

Yea, sorry to say its would need the whole body removing all the running gear, jigged and then new crossmembers welded in, shot blast the chassis and repaint, then rebuild all of the lower body panels out of new metal, a new engine, a new gearbox, rear axle rebuild, new exhaust and re wiring... and thats before you add a new floor, paint, seats, ice, wheels and tryes.... Its just too far gone If i had a workshop loads of space and tiem Maybe just maybe it could be saved, but it would be a very very brave restoration.
