ive been on the forums a while now and thought I should do a project.. ive picked a 2 door austin a35 which I want to make into a historic rally replica with a few modern touches... any input or ideas are welcome....
I brought a 1959 a35 off ebay last week for 160 squids.... its now home and ive already started stripping it.. I will add some pics as I go along and will add some pics as brought off ebay... heres some of my plans....
ive already brought a 1275 marina engine which I will be rebuilding it to 1380cc with good cam and ported and polished head which I will do myself as I have a head off an old mg metro...
will be running a moggy 1100 gearbox and uprated clutch.... moggy diff and midget half shafts... already brought midget disc brake setup and will be keeping rear drums as there plenty good enough for the job...will fit leaf springs off a35 van as there stiffer and will be converting to mini adjustable dampers on rear instead of cacky origanal lever dampers....also fitting midget rear lowering blocks... midget lowered springs up front,stripping car of unwanted weight like heater and fuel tank and interior and most of glass... will have plastic windows and alloy tank and putting battery in the rear...will remove rear seat panel and fit bracing frame... will be making roll cage and just have 2 lightweight bucket seats with 4 point harnesses...before I start on that lot I have to get the shell welded up as has a bit of rot here and there... will add some pics asap...

where do you find all these pics? 
I dare say someone could identify though. Might have been a Lancia version or something.
