We all know that Cressy's are uber-cool J-tin. So imagine my squeals of delight when I was offered the option of a lovely Cressida ESTATE! I've just been drip-fed some more info by the owner... and it sounds great! There's just one snag though... the deal is kind of a two-for-one offer. Included in the sale is a red (like the wagon) low-mileage (also like the wagon) 1979 saloon. It's a former show winning car with heaps of documentation, but has been in storage for 4 years so needs minor titilation for the MOT... ..the cars come as a pair but I really only have the space (and money in the twatting-about-with-old-motors pot) for one.... So what I'm asking is... would any of you lot be interested in coming in on the deal with me? Get yo'self some hardcore J-tin action for much cheapness! Edit: who's been mucking about with the filters? c-r-e-s-s-i-d-a now comes out as "cressida" ...? couldn't agree more though!

The sella is asking £750 the pair... which all things cosidered I reckon is no a bad price! Obviously the price would be biased towards the wagon as that is way rarer and doesn't require any re-comissioning (apparently). The cars are located in the Wiltshire / Somerset borders.

Putting my sensible head on, I'm gonna have to say no. Let's hope you manage to find a buyer...it certainly sounds like a great deal, and I can definitely recommend Cressida ownership.
anyone?

i can see 'em now. Fugg me that is stunning! apart from the wheeltrims of course, for which the guy should be heavily punished by means of a house ransacking or similar.
I guess its leftfield 'christ-i-didn't-know-there-were-any-of-those-left' J-style vs good old growly rally-jacket essex nut-&-bolt tail-out action! two very different camps! I vote Cressida cos I never drive very fast and I always like to be surprised by oddities like that.
which way are you leaning Nike Brewer?
Any pics of the saloon?

It looks so out of place on that brand new housing estate it just makes it look even cooler. Those trims are nasty, my uncle had some of those on a Fiat Uno he had once, luckily it caught fire and was burnt out.
