Good score! I had a F reg 3 door, loved it - so quick & great fun to drive. I sold it through RR to Paul Wakely of PC fame. It was supposed to be being used in a feature of sub 200 quid cars, though i don't remember it being used, or even such a feature appearing.... Think it belongs to Keith Adams now & is awaiting a gearbox...

Nice. Watch out when you get the heater working. If you had the vent on in the middle pointing at your hand it would almost burn them it got that hot! Top motors, I loved my GT.

I had a gti for a few months, cost me a bargain 200 notes! I'd have another one straight away. Was minging when i got it, but a good polish and 106 rallye wheels, and thats all it needed.

arh that brings back memories lol ax was my first car. it was such a shame to scrap the GTI shell i nicked all my bits from as it was mint and no rust, the 1.1 i had was rubish but looked like a GTI, i was only 17 so couldnt aford the insurance on the gti so didnt fix the head gaskit on it.

Like these in a 5door flava. What's the shell like rust wise? inner wings front and rear, sills and arches behind the plastics. Loved mine, built for a mate out of a 500 with a knackered shell and a phase 2 with knackered everything but the shell. Before slamming After (sorry, only pic I could find )
