ok, had a couple of hours on it this weekend. Old standard exhaust removed, and new 2 1/4 mild steel system fitted. Much more stealthy!!! Removed the 256mm front brakes in order to fit the 236mm brakes. Needed to fit under my banded steels (currently being done by james p) And the daily runner ats classics. It's gonna be tight!!! The ats's look much better than the cav steels imo!! Also removed the front bumper to tidy the front panel up over the next few weeks. More updates soon!

I don't suppose you're in the Nottingham area are you? Or did you buy the car from that area? Its just I recognise the number plate, I'm sure it used to belong to a mate of mine... I'd just like to say that this is probably the best Nova I've ever seen! I've always fancied doing one and yours is so subtle and pretty much spot on, awesome job

Used to belong to a chap named pete, he sold it to make way for a manta. Iirc he has a nice mk2 astra as well. Cheers for the nice comments, makes it all worth while!

I thought it was Pete's car! He used to work at the same place as me, and before he owned it it belonged to my mate Matt, who was given it by his Grandma! I remember spending a bit of time under the bonnet when Matt owned it because he wasn't very car literate really Whereabouts is it now then??

Lol, pete gave me loads of hand written history with it when i bought it. It's been well cared for over the years. I've kept the original engine and box incase i ever decide to revert back. Car now resides in cheadle, stoke-on-trent.

Another jamesp wheel user! I was thinking of getting that type of wheel banded too, but decided on the Rostyles.
Cant wait these on your car.
