Hey guys. The wheels are 15x7 suerlites. Although I have decided to get some 15x8's for the rear to fill the guards a bit better.

New plan. Just decided to get a set of 15" mondeo steels so I can widen them and have two sets of wheels.

Nice one.
Wish I knew what to do with all those engine parts..... But then, I suppose I know how to stitch people up, give an enema and do a few other things.
Keep us updated please.

Briefly ran a Mk2 2 litre Ghia in the late 80s. It was built to crooze.

Hey fellas. Small update, The car has been at the panel beaters for a while now but still hasn't had much done which is frustrating.
Will set this up on the carb motor while I save for the bits to convert it to injection and turbo charging.
Have found a good re-trimmer that is well priced and does great work so I'm going to use him.
Hopefully by the end I will have a tidy streeter that will surprise chavs at the lights !

cheers mate. Tbh I don't think there are enough mk2 capri's done aye. Mainly see JPS's restored and personally they are my least favorite of the mk2's. Here are some more pics of the rust work thats going on..

yeah, its all about jps for some reason, liverpool was littered with em in the 70's due to ford factory workers discounts, so as i child of the 80's i watched many of em rot away or banger raced. don't see as many mk2's as i would like to, cant think last time i saw one on the road and not at a meet/show. they do make me smile and i would love one but a gudden is hard to find round these parts:-)
