Well with the 360 still needing odds and sods, eventually bodywork... and something to make it a bit more livlier I've been driving a 940 Wenthworth for a while - great car but soul less! A friend of mine had a 343 for sale with a cracked radiator, needing recomissioning on the road... couldn't say no as it's a nice early Mk2.... so the 940 will be going and this will be my daily hack... Fitted new rad today... and as the old 13" steels had very, very tired tyres I fitted some GLT alloys with decent tyres ready for the MOT!    |

Are these still getting scrapped? I thought the drift krue were starting to buy em up, a 360 with a bust engine went got £350 on the bay the other day.

Yeah, some do get scrapped - bad luck really, don't think that particular one was pushed for sale enough and I think the owner got fed up of it hanging around. It's a B14 1.4 with a whopping 72bhp of raw powah... pretty strong little units though! |

Wow that looks very tidy - I thought these guys could be a bit of a rust haven? My gran had a E reg 340 3 door with a stupidly big engine in bright Yellow when I was 3 or 4. She hated it, I thought it was hilarious |

Wow that looks very tidy - I thought these guys could be a bit of a rust haven? Can be... better than most comparable cars of it's age though. It is fairly scabby in places, but fundamentally solid - can't wait to get it properly on the road ;D |

Thats wicked. love the colour i saw an old saab 900 in that colour last weekend. those volvos have crazy handling but are a lot of fun. stick a renault 21 turbo lump in it. |

Thanks Just about to go n sort a few more things out for its pending MOT... hopefully it won't need too much! Decent tyres and the grip is impressive - lots of roll, but great fun! I think eventually I'd like to convert it to 360 running gear with a 2.3 Volvo redblock on twin 45's or something, but that'll be a while off! ;D Something like this.... |

Faillleddd... few corroded brake pipes and one binding/imbalance... no suprise there then, I could tell on the way to the MOT station - but this being the first opportunity I could legally drive it! Oh well, not too bad considering it had been sat since 2002 til March this year, then sat around again!  |
