With the Mercedes gone and the Fiat missing presumed dead its time to introduce my new toy. I've been after a GT for ages and after viewing plenty of overpriced tarted up rust I was offered this and couldn't refuse. The car is an ex-show winner and was featured in practical classics magazine last year. The history file included a bunch of arty photos like this. Its possible that the engine is tuned as the cylinder head look like it has had work, it also has a mystery Downton sticker under the bonnet. It certainly gets past 90mph easily ;D Future plans are to leave it looking standard, treat it to some period bolt on mods and see how it goes at RR08

It's got Leyland S/T on the rocker cover. Meaning Special Tuning meaning its probably been modified.

there was a sooperbly rotten 1100/1300 in a local yard with some 13" (?) 4 spoke alloys on, I can ask if reqd? -flared arches too! - kev

well i sold it , due to personal reasons but no its gone to a good home, its a superb car and could not be repeated thats for sure. i hope one day to re own her lee! take care fella and look after the baby!
