A bit tired tonight after the long day yesterday so less progress. Also about to go off to sunnier climes for a bit so there will be a break in progress for a couple of weeks. Hose clamps and dual 8mm fuel line clips (Ford Granada ones) turned up today, so these got fitted. The joints in the cooler lines got PTFE added and tightened up - these lines are now finished (barring any leaks when its running again). The fuel pipe has been reshaped and put back - no issues with chafing anymore now The brake pipe will also go through, but that will have to wait until I return.

Coming along niceley, have you got a link for the Granada fuel line clips, they are just what I need to re-do the fuel lines on my Range Rover.

For the future, you’ve used the wrong brake pipe unions for the rear wheel cyls. American stuff doesnt have a spigot/lead in before the thread like British ones do, they are square threaded right to the end and the thread in the wheel cup is quite short because of it. It seems you’ve realised this and machined the little spigot off which is fine so you’ve got good thread engagement, but you can buy the correct ones for American applications of you shop around.

Hi Dez, they were the fittings on the car, but thanks for educating me. Do you have a link to the correct fittings?

Thanks Darkspeed, as I'm in the Med I assume the link is the correct thread before I order them?

Thanks Darkspeed, as I'm in the Med I assume the link is the correct thread before I order them? Link is to a selection of brake fittings without the lead in no specific size or thread selected - would not have a clue what ones are used on that car.

OK, thanks I'll have to check when I get back then. They are imperial though and my stock ones had the same thread.
