Cheers mark will have to have a look. The motor factors in leeds are turd but hopefully they will have some.
Do you reckon its worth buying a cheap rotary sander for doing the basic filler shaping? I used a black & decker sander to do the last bit of filler work I did and it worked OK but new sanding pads are a right ripoff for them.

In a word Matt, no. If you have a decent compressor, then get a DA sander, though I think you can get leccy ones too somewhere. Thats the beauty of using professional filler though, it sands off so much easier than halfrauds curse word. For good sanding, look at www.flexiblesanders.co.uk/products.php?cat=7 they aint cheap, but nothing good in this life is, they are worth every penny and more, get the self adhesive sandpaper for them.

I have no compressor at all at my girlfriends so no air tools :-(. I might try and find a leccy one i've not got too much filling to do all the rot is underneath. Cheers for the link might invest in a set.

Just been looking at the Sealey page Chris, 'kin expensive!! Seen the air powered ones only use 4Cfm, so might get one of those after all, much cheaper too. Thought they used more air than that.

Another update, While rear arches are off for prep, it was time for fitting some of the electrics, waterproof flanges and trunking go in, Wings fully prepped & primed, Some glass loops were cast up for fitting the conduit to the flip front, Indicators are fitted to front after hours of wondering where to put them, Scoop gets additional bolt fixings added with ally bonnet plates, Rear wings fully stone chipped and glossed on the inside, outside will be done with the rest of the car. Scoop with fixings in place and coated with flow-coat, And finally the scoop and dash panel get done in black epoxy primer. Stay tuned folks

Another update for you, A quick shot of the brakes and line Lock, boot lid gets prep work, and all smoothed out and primed inside done, Trim panel made up and fitted, New better fitting floor panels go in, with a CV boot used as a brake pedal gaiter, Floor now completed, doors partly stripped prior to going to media blasters, and the insides, not too much rust for 54 years old Getting near to where it is today now, couple more updates will bring it to real time.

Man, you should be so chuffed with this car. I wouldn't be able to anything on it after I'd done the floor because I'd spend too much time standing back, looking at it and saying 'I made that' to myself.
