Finally sussed the worst part of the wiring - hazard warning circuits. Pretty simple circuits in the end, just getting 15yr old hazard switches & 30 yr old steering stalks to work with modern wiring was the tricky bit. Mocked it all up in the office to make sure it worked properly. Circuit diagrams so far, might help other people?

After lots of testing and reading schematics for the wiper problem (intermittent works on 'off' position and intermittent position is 'off'), I'm thinking it's the relay that's the issue. The 'S' feed into the relay is 12v which 'should' power up the timer in the relay for intermittent. The thing is though, if I disconnect this wire it still runs on intermittent when the switch is in the 'off' position. This should just not be possible. I'm wondering if something in the relay is damaged (diode maybe?). I have another better suited relay on its way to me so I'll see if it behaves differently. I do actually have what I want, only not according to the logo's on the stalks so I guess I could just re-label the stalk if all else fails. I have also done my power window schematics (see attached drawings) which were quite simple, hopefully my drawings will help others. Damn! why wont this website let you publish bigger pictures? pm me if anyone wants clearer diagrams.

Got bored of doing theory electrics and got back to the practical stuff. I wasn't happy with the rear wing that I polished the other day, so I flatted it back again and polished from scratch again. Much better now. Fitted the rear lights, to see how it looked still got to repair the chipped corner though. The other wing is now also being flatted prior to polishing. And hopefully this video will work;

Second rear wing now fully polished and fitted to the car. Lights also fitted. Another view, needs front end on as rear looks very wide without it! And the view I had when bolting on the rear wheel arch, I thought it looked cool
