Nice 205! Very early one as well. What you need is a 205 1.9 or 309 GTi rear beam (can i have yours? )

Thats really odd your GTI has a late dash and late rear spoiler on an early car

you're going to plate over the sunroof?! that car looks so clean it'd almost be a waste to make it into a track car and do stuff like that... oh well

Damn you Retro-Rides! I was happy to plate the roof over and make this my racer... but I'm thinking of tidying it up now LOL.

Wow. What a pair of tidy purchases! Can't get excited about four-pot E30s (sorry Pog!) but that red'un really floats my boat. So cleeeeean!
The Pug 205 is nice too. I can see the dilemma - it looks very nice, is a fairly early one (was it 84 that the GTi was launched?) and it would be a shame to strip it. But then, it is your car and at the moment, there are still plenty of 205 GTis around. I'd be tempted to have that myself! Hmmmm, red carpets....

By the way... I'm not going to race it now... Decided it is too good.
So I'm fixing it and sticking it up for sale to buy a shitbox one.

Nice Pug. Mines a B reg ('85) and has the phase 2 dash and a Sorrento LE interior just like yours.

Everytime I sit in the E30, all I can think is that there should be a big ol' car phone in there Definatly a yuppie thing going on. I've fixed the wipers on the 205 now ;D But, got a few questions the 205 peeps might be able to help me with... 1. The locks on it are a bit curse word. It took me about 20 minutes to lock the drivers door last night. The key itself wouldn't turn to lock it. Any ideas why? 2. Are the plastic bits on the car ment to be grey or black? I thought they'd be black, but I put a bit of back-to-black type stuff on and it didn't do anything. Or have they just deteriated that much?

So it might be that they've faded too far or they're meant to be grey.....

Post 1990 ish the trim was black, before that it is dark grey.
The door locks are curse word, keys jam in them, I replaced mine with new ones for about a tenner.
