Dom, is the barn in Westcliffe? Would love to see the car at some point if possible when I'm back for Christmas, would be awesome to see it in the flesh! (You could explain all that suspension lark at the back to me as well ) We could get a little Essex meet going as well perhaps? |

Nope its in Warwickshire and I`ll be snowboarding for Christmas anyway |

Sitting very unloved in the Barn at the moment  Too busy to get anywhere near it at the moment and my "Reliable Daily Driver" has just spat the dummy as well so more hassle I really need at the moment  Seriously the way I feel at the moment, Turn up with 5 Grand and a Trailer and take it away  Dude, ride through the pain! Your car is too cool to flog. Just think in a few months you'll be double-declutching around whereveryourfrom's finest B roads in one of THE coolest cars in the country. As I've found out, good things come to those who wait... |

As I've found out, good things come to those who wait... Thanks for the support but at the moment it just feels like a whole load of money sat there going nowhere fast...... Thats 5 Months Snowboarding in Meribel without having to think about work ;D or a fair way towards an S2000 which I could just jump in and use...... tomorrow |

Keep at it!!!
I've been in exactly the same position with my track Jetta, with thousands of pounds worth of bits sat around doing nothing whilst i'm driving around in a shed and still living at home, thinking I could have a house and a decent car for every day instead.......then I look through the forum at other people's cars and see what they have achieved, and sit dreaming of what it'll be like WHEN its done and i'm screaming around tracks having fun, and I know it'll be worth it in the end to have something different that no one alse will have, thats been mosty built by me and that i'll have fun with for years to come.
We all go though these little low patches - just get the other issues sorted, don't think about it too much and come back to it when you're ready and full of enthusiasm again.
Just my 2p's worth ;D

imagine... you go to a show and theres someone else claiming to have done all the tack an work you have done as he/she has done the final finishing off...

Dom stick at it man , I've been doing my Kadett on and off for 9 years ffs.. believe me there's been soooo many times I've been going to throw the towel in but you've just got to keep at it Like has been said , there'd be nothing worse than seeing it a show with somebody else holding the keys..... |

Dom, there is no way you will get anything like your car is worth as it stands.
It would be a damn shame to see it go to someone else who could also end up with it parked up for as a project for a few years, break it for spares or bodge it together and sell it on for a lot more than they paid for it.
You need to forget about this for awhile, buy a shuvit for £100 weld the diff up and take it to a few autotests or another cheap event and enjoy yourself. That should help you get your mojo back.
