good to see this ressurected, good luck with the rest of the build mate. Cheers Does anyone know where I can get a set of Berg Cup style arches ? Or bolt on JDM style ones ? Axle + wheel choice is going to make it look wrong just pulling the arches. Thinking mk1 golf arches all round at the moment, would be the right period but give a bit more coverage ?

Cheers Guys, This is one of the Berg kits: www.haslbeck-kunststoffe.de/html/produkte/c-kadett-motorsportteile/c-kadett-motorsportteile.htmlBC thanks for that, I have seen that build, pretty impressive I have the kit to do my own arches, I have a shrinker/stretcher etc ;D My problem is, I want something easily available, and bolt on, because I know its going to get spanked sideways off something sooner or later, so something that can be easily replaced is preferred, also I don't want to go too mad with it. I just need a bit more than a pull of the arches is going to give me.... Mk1 Golf or Mk1 Astra are looking favourite at the moment Or Gary`s Zakspeed Mk2 escort ones ;D

I just need a bit more than a pull of the arches is going to give me.... OK

Yeah that shouldnt be a problem ;D Went down to see it yesterday and have a bit of a sort out, I`ll get some pics up later from home. Just investigating fastest routes to rolling..... I knew I had some Yamaha (Keep it in the family ;D) Bike carbs "In Stock" somewhere, thinking I could just make a manifold, plus Megajolt for sparks to get it rolling. Dug them out and discovered not only do they have the rubber manifold adaptor flanges on them, but I`d also bought a complete airbox assembly as well ;D ;D ;D So its 2 Waterjet cut flanges & some runners away from a (Cheap) fuelling solution for now I have a spare engine essentially, so I can continue the Supercharged Build up on that, but for now getting the thing rolling and useable is the No1 priority, everything will be package protected for the Supercharged build, and all the chargecooling will be in ready etc, but I may well get it up and rolling on Carbs initially as its effectively Zero Additional spend ;D

That rear end still gives me the horn! It's my goal to end up with something close to that!

Nice to see some photos mate And at least the interior metal hasn't really rusted - after a good blast the engine bay will be nicely lightened
