thanks guys it's getting there now - it feels like it anyway. some of this work is from the past couple of months where it feels i've spent every spare 10 minutes on it!! been to no A52 weekenders, not even been out doing photography since mid april!!!  i think all i've done is go to pod for the classic ford show!! too right i can't wait si!!!! |

yeah still going at it mate thanks for asking  i didn't touch it from about november til february though ;D it's all up to date on turbosport but i'll have to get the pics uploaded on a host somewhere to update this on rr!!! i will get on the case though if you're interested!! |

right let's have another go after Butterz has helped with the stupid fb/images thing!! i'm going back to last summerish here so i'll have to play catch up a bit for now!! cop off one very bodged sill previously fitted by a 'pro' bodyshop   pattern sill in place   finito & treated for the winter as it turned out ;D  |

i then moved forward to 3 layers of passenger strut top ;D  as usual it's pretty terminal.....  i tacked the top in place on the cup first lining it up directly over the top  then chopped out the cup & top of the uprights afterwards  fully welded in place  the next infill piece  very front section the same...  & all cleaned/treated with a skim of filler ;D  |

Good work, takes me back to when I did mine. Funny how it always turns out theres more work than expected. Be good to know its all soild again, just invest in some waxoyl or similar this time & hopefully you won't have to touch it for years

i KNEW there was more to do than first appeared so i haven't faced too many surprises Great work there mate, so glad mine isn't like that, scary stuff. Such a great looking car though, what's left to do? still a fair bit on the list but there's more done than to do i'll keep updating this now to bring it up to date but i got to do a bit at a time & doing all the photo links from FB is mind-numbing....  yet another fully welded on wing   hiding the usual curse word ;D  & remove A post....  look at other manky bits of escort  |

replace splash panel  replace bottom post/inner sill area  take a bit of zintec....  & make an A post panel....  then finsih outer bit of sill & move onto the next bit ;D  |

the usual sight up there then  bonnet hinge spot-drilled off, chopped out & you can already see the evidence of several strut top repairs......  chop some metal up ;D  all 3 layers back in  final piece & few more scuttleish repairs  & that section finished....  next....!!!! ;D |

I got offered a white Mk1 with bubble arches when I was 17 for £750!!! But turned it down!!!! Idiot! Would do anything to go back to 1995 and beat my self up!

cheers guys in all honesty, i don't really want to change the look of the car drastically...... i'm tempted to run without bumpers but we'll see ;D O/S strut top.....  that's better  bit of pre-fitting work...  fixed ;D along with bonnet hinge bracket  |
