My latest acquisition; Mk2 Zephyr Utility Its an Australian market only production model not a chop job, they made about 18,000 and there aren't many left. 2.6 straight six, three on the tree manual and plenty o' rust. Plans include freeing up the binding handbrake and sorting the clutch, which is refusing to rise all the way off the floor. It moves really slowly up about 3/4 of the way and just stops. It had a master cylinder kit put through it just before I bought it, its not loosing fluid, I'm thinking its the slave but any ideas are more than welcome.

Excellent ! That looks great - remind anyone else of the Pharoah cosmopolitan ? (correct me if I'm wrong ) re the clutch - sounds like either the slave is jammed up or the hose is kinked or blocked. Try replacing the hose with solid copper (if it isn't already) and try it. Hopefully an easy fix tho.

It's a ute!
Brakes might just be knackered cylinders. Those repair kits hardly ever work so it's worth replacing it all if you can't find any leaks. Saying that though it might just be a dead slave.

As for the clutch the hose looks fine but I will take it all apart for a closer look when I get the chance.

The Pharoh is a Nash Ambassador sedan cut down into a pickup. Looks like a Dodgem car all growed up LOL.
That Ute is sweet. As has been said a few got impoted over here recently - usually looking about the same condition as yours.
Muchos potential. Cragar S/S are the law on these cars.

So it seems like it was worth the 7 or 8 years of following/reminding/updating/hassling I had to go through to secure the Zeph then.
It used to belong to my former neighbor's dad, who had it for the last 17 years. Ive known about it for about 8 years and kept in touch (pestered really) for the last 4 or five.
