It all started last year when I was given this. got a bit stripped. Which was changed to this over a week (with some helps from my mate's) And was also changed from a 1ltr upto a 1.6 gte lump. at the moment it's in the middle of a refurb after dropping a valve chasing a scooby around combe last year. old engine was taken out in 30 mins ready for welding the engine bay then putting the new lump in. A few of the welds And I didnt need this. so cut it out. sorted now. Nearly there. much better. Now with this fitted I cant wait for eurofest in a few weeks time. see you track side soon me AKA The Stick. Please leave comments. As this was built as a sort of charity case track car build so thanks to all thats donated or sold stuff to me cheap. Also got it running for the first time.No exhaust and low on oil but it ran. I was well chuffed. Head light mod.(for better cooling) Ice install at the lock up. New switch's fitted and working. New strut brace fitted. Some in car fotage from a friends car as myself and another friend do a flyby. video.google.co.uk/videoplay?docid=-4365796575818683730

Cool! Engine bay pic looks brilliant. Noticed your front bumper seems to be removable with the pins on it, I like that idea, consider it 'borrowed'!
What sprt of suspension is in it?

No probs. I nicked the idear of my mate any way lol and you can get the front bumper of in seconds now. It started of on a set of G-max shocks and springs but now runs coilovers on the front and no anti roll bar or it would make it pointless to have the coilovers. The bonnet and boot should be getting changed to fibre glass once funds alow me to (E'G' the miss's)

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

Not to sure about a go at driving it but if you see me at a track day come say hello. If the other half aint there I can see no probs with it but if she is then best ask her first lol. I'm of to llandow on the 20th august then combe on the 8th september and cant wait. And for the people who like the bumper pin idear. How easy is this to work on like this. It does help having this to take it place's. Team Banziundersteer. Darren Lee Chris (GSI) Me Ernie (Chris)

I've got a DVD of that Burgundy one going round Coombe, great little car! I was going to try selling you a roll cage but you already have one...curse word! Oh, and if memory serves, its been a while since I did/read much with Novas, to keep the same strangth in the back of the shell after removing the wheel-well, you need to add something like 1 - 2kg more steel than was removed. Its also a handy place to relocate the battery to. Bit late now tho!

Cheers mate and in the procces of moving it to there but have another prodject to get on with for the miss's. I t has got a strut brace in the rear aswel now but I can still pick the back end up on my own so does get a bit tail happy at time's but that just adds to the fun.

They can be a little..ermm..loose at the back when stripped. That blue thing I posted a picture of in 'general' a few days back was awful, it used to lock the rear wheels if I had less than half a tank of fuel, but thats why the rear disc conversions arn't worth the hassle!

None of us have them fitted as more of a show thing than for any thing else.My mate has a c20let in his 1 and that is still fine with drums on the rear.
