Aw man this car is so cool! That's an awesome photo of it at the Ace. And I'm loving the dash work as well! When I'm back in Essex we'll have to try and get a few impers down there for one of the meets.

great job on that binnacle looks fantastic whats next for the grey beast?? cheers,I'm pleased with it considering the time it did'nt take.Whats next? well,I'm currently sourcing parts for fitting a front rad and need to cut out the air box before fitment can begin. As far as the styling goes the next job is to checker the rear parcel shelf in the same colours as the binacle and paint the door bins.I'm off work 2 days next week so watch this space ;D.when thats all done I plan to scallop the bonnet and roof in the same orange and cream.(this has been the plan since january,I'm abit behind this year)I liked the scalllops I did before and want to be abit more adventrous this time, maybe something along the lines of these...... this is how it used to look. I found this earlier this year,I'm liking it alot and would like to mirror the design over the roof. I'm tempted by this too...... and this over bonnet and roof. after that or maybe before I'm hoping to get some banded 13" steels for the back that will take an original Imp chrome hub cap and some 12's for the front to shake things up abit........

Hi there Mr Jones,if this is what you mean its hand written on the glass by printing the required wording, placing it on the inside of the glass and then tracing it through.white paint markers are quickest though if you have a steady hand 'oneshot' off a brush looks better. ;D I guess if you want stickers a company like 'SLOOK' on the inter-web could help you as they do custom work. www.slook.co.uk

Shall do 'squire. We might even be able to persuade Paul/I'm to get down as well. Ben (from the Imp Club) can't be far away either? I guess if you want stickers a company like 'SLOOK' on the inter-web could help you as they do custom work. There's a feller on here that works for/runs/something to do with them as well isn't there?

Happy new year to one and all,the TIKI MOBILE is currently in the dock because its over charging and has boiled the battery dry .I'm currently looking at replacement voltage regulators or an alterative, any ideas would be welcome.I'm also on the look out for 13" wheels that will take a standard IMP hub cap or simular to complete some future plans while the car off the road.any pointers will be gratefully received.

Hi Bryan,
Happy New Year matey.
13" wheels, have you looked at early Spridget steels? Or perhaps Viva, Firenza, Victor, Magnum, Moggy Minor, Austin a35....
Not sure if the Imp caps will fit mind you.

This is a Magnum ;D And so is this: basically a 3 door Viva HC You may be right about the Minor wheels but the A35 has the same stud pattern so may be OK.

I did'nt think A35 wheels would be the right size, ace if they are because they come with big ole'chrome dome hubbies.I seem to remember moggy wheels being 14 A35's are same pattern as Midget etc so 4" I think. Yep, small dome hubcaps with an "A" pressed in the centre. Yep, minors are 14" too.

the TIKI MOBILE is still in dry dock because I'm now stumped on the charging issue I had before christmas.the battery boiled dry to the smell of old eggs and I thought it was the v/regulator so I just had it tested. :(it works fine on the bench but,on the car it sounds like a buzzer and the other electrics are really weak! any ideas pls.
