OK - she's a mess, but has given me 4yrs of no hassles and deserves some proper care for once. We all know the feeling closely followed by then which leads to the missus ....... as the shed gets all the TLC. I trashed the before photo's apart from these - sorry been running her for 3yrs before Belgian tw*t used her as a parking guide - leaving me with this innocuous looking crumple So she went into the corner and bits were ripped off - no in progress shots unfortunately due to me being a wally - here's the up to date stuff though. front wing chopped and replaced - inside sorted too then started moving backwards - both floor pans note - track control arms to be done! - Forgot chassis arms done too - then jumped a little to the rear arch then swallowed my pride and took a look at the sills 'properly' - oh my word and this photo shows what I was looking at for the rear arches - typical curse word rubber drain hoses disintegrate leaving you facing this both sides so did what any sane person would do and put some shiny bits on it....... ;D rear shocks too - no photo, and stainless exhaust I've the new rear springs to chop ( courtesy of Dez's guide ) as they're like stilts then the poly bushes are sitting awaiting onslaught. No chance this weekend though - SWMBO mums' birthday so driving to Dusseldorf for surprise party. Now I've intro'd her - I'll actually have to get something done and keep it updated....... best spur I can think of to be honest. Banded steels are in the pipeline - but postage to UK not so cheap! Trying to find similar company here...... will keep you posted.

Thanks fellas - must admit I'm shamed into action a lot after seeing the results on here....... Now facing a weekend of drudgery with the Nord-Rheinlander in-laws instead of metal bashing and fixing the beast... Update soon though - of one thing or another.......

bit of an update, other stuff not photo’d – so lettin the side down. ANYWAY – I put together a workbench to get crackin ( only I forgot to secure it to the wall and found it leaning on the front of the car! ) Rear suspension started out looking a lot like this…. Grinder, wire brush on drill and a load of faffin around……….. Cleanin up the drivershaft and gubbins While the 33yr old rubber seals had done a decent job to be honest So got it all cleaned up And primed the backplate It’s sitting waiting to be put back together, the primer wasn’t quite dry before I get dragged out by the GF. Spiders need replacing and are a bit of a pain – so those two to do and then drivers side – I’m at a gay wedding this weekend so may not get this done as quickly as I’d like. I’ve also made the templates for the patches in the boot, inner sills and floor pan – welding should be finished end of March.

Nice work! Really really like Triumph 2000's. If they weren't British-built I'd have one! ;D That's gonna look awesome when it's done!

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

Love these shape triumphs. Stag looks, but bigger. My Bro had a 2.5 PI when I was a kid. It was the sheet! Went like an absolute bastid, apparently the ex-police ones needed new diffs all the time cos they got wrecked by the power!!! Could be bull of course but it felt more than capable of wrecking a few teeth!!
Monster job there, but looks like you're getting there. Keep it up. Respray in the same colour or going for a change??
