Blimey, you kept all this quiet! i think!
Looks great, a proper freshen up and that rust attacked! Ace!
theres a mini review of these in a 1985 performance car mag i got recently, i never realised the MR2 was its competition.

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

Great work using those arches! Inspired bit of cross-pollenation I say WITH the spoiler.

Good work indeed, and what HotWire said about the spoiler... so you'll need a special holographic spoiler that's somehow only visible when the viewing angle asks for it ;D

Woof woof! Excellent use of Scirroco bodykit, looks absolutely fantastic! Looks tons better for the motorbike plates too With spoiler for me, reckon it complements the arches nicely ;-) Cracking job!

Wow, fantastic stuff! I say lose the spoiler and put the front number plate in the middle (or use a stick-on one on the front panel) - for me the offset reg plate is just trying a little bit too hard.
Car looks ace, scirocco kit is inspired!

Excellent. Quality bit of repair work there. Like the arch work, although I think it will look better in the flesh than it does in the pics (it looks a little bit too glossy in the pics) I think the front no. plate looks spot on in this pic but doesnt look as good in the other shots, like Mr_B says it might be worth trying a central or stuck on one. Definetely with a spoiler whether it be that one or another All in all pretty fukcing cool

Wow guys....thanks for all the positive replies! I've looked at it all angles with and without the spoiler and some look better with and some without I quite like tha fact that i've never seen one with that particular spoiler on before and also like the b & w theme,but.....i do like the clean no spoiler look. I think i'll run around like that for a few weeks, then take it off and do the same and then decide......unless anyone has any alternatives (cheap of course) in mind. ;D The other point that was raised was the front plate.....this one is actually on a hinge so it sits to the body when moving, but i really hate the look of any front plate tbh and don't really know what to do with it....i'm not that keen with it in the middle because it makes the car look a bit Again,ta for all the positive comments chaps

Keep the spoiler and re-locate the front number plate - either a stick-on one as already said or a small oblong one in the middle with the motorbike letter & numbers. Just my opinion though Looks so good so far though, and great use of the 'kit. Seeing all these badly rusted cars being fixed makes me feel so much better about the relatively small amounts of rust on mine ;D

At bloody last ;D And if I might be so bold to say - rapid progress Ta....yeah i like to get a move on when i start something....it seems to occupy me totally untill it's done, even then i can't leave it! Excellent. Quality bit of repair work there. Like the arch work, although I think it will look better in the flesh than it does in the pics (it looks a little bit too glossy in the pics) The arches are glossy actually.but the whole car does look much better/lower in the flesh,i can't seen toi capture the right angles on film.....i'm going to try and get some better shots of it with a better camera in a better location!
