I remember seeing a couple of mk1 micras on here before, so don't feel too bad about posting my latest purchase up. after selling my crx, I needed something to run around in so bought this wee bad boy from ebay. its a 1992 nissan micra 1.2gs, a bit rough, with a rusty wing but has t+t-  discovered some 'cress like foliage' growing under the rear seat-  then set my 4 year old son to ripping the rear out-  its amazing how much useless stuff is in the rear of a car!-  anyway, i've tore the rear seats/interior out, pulled all the bumpstrips off(have you felt the weight of these things?), removed the 3 wheeltrims, gave it an air freshener, and future plans include an angle grinder and a paintbrush. watch this space for progress.... cheers, g. |

Not overly retro, but sort of is IMO, this sounds a bit mad so its registering 9/10 on interesting for me. Cant wait to see how this loos and how much brisker it will be!  my old c reg 1.0 in standard trim was bloody brisk (for the engine size)! hated motorways loved commute bashing racing!  |

Hi there, nice micra- we now have three ;D oooh its a GS- i think they is like a ghia, with all the extras- which you've thrown in the bin FTW a big block too heh? very nice sir! i feel so plebian  the povo spec one (the LS model, like mine) is suggested to be 660 kilos in stock form. Best teather it matey, don't want it floating off keep us posted mate! |

ive not been to the dump yet, so if you need a part off it, let me know.
the car is certainly pretty nippy, and the seats are like sofas, I'm hoping to get to b+q at the weekend to pick some paint for it, my friend has offered me some tiny alloys too (i like steels, but they are pretty rusty to paint over), I'm going to remove the rear wash wipe, and some more interior panels.
