Glad you didn't take my comments about the wheels personally! Like has been said, each to his own and if you like it that's the most important thing. The pics made me go Orion-hunting on t'internet as I need a cheap runaround and I can indeed confirm that they are as rare as white dogpoo.
Thought it'd make a nice simple daily driver - underrated, 1.6 Ghia injection is far far easier to insure than an XR3i yet has the same trim/engine.... brilliant plan except I can't find one!

Love the car, the (mk3 escort based) orion is a nice motor. 17" suit it well IMO, although slamming it on 15" would look good ground clearance might be a pain. Either way it would look good! Had 17" on my mk4 XR3i and I thought it looked good.....  |

xr3i looks good!!! getting me 16 inch tsw evo,s tomorrow, going to put 195 45 16"s or 195 40 16"s on, would like it lower but front shocks are almost bottoming out now on 60mm drop!!!! coilovers would be nice but pricey at the moment!!! not worried about ground clearance, if it don't scrape its not low enuf!!!!
