	hi i've just joined up, its great to see loads of different makes and models of cars, i'm usually one track minded with what i own,i found this site through a link on another forum,so here's a few pics of my mk1 golf gti with a 16v conversion, i got it as a resto its taken 3 yrs to rebuild when time and money has allowed ,had some great fun this summer, but not long enough only put about 1500 miles on it, but thats a fair bit of grinning even though, hope you like i44.photobucket.com/albums/f48/kayron666/golfblack414.jpg[/IMG

	Lovely! Looks like a very tidy 16v install indeed, I used to have a Mk1 16v too, scared the sh!t out of me! It's now owned by DarrenW on here but I still have a few other old Golf's as I'm something of a fan
