1973 Vauxhall Firenza

Had a bit of a go at it the other day with my good pal MickyJ . Brakes were bled , injection bits n bobs refitted , front spoiler back on , bulkhead panel thingy screwed in , a squillion other little bits and pieces sorted out etc etc .

Got a brand new rear bumper for it off the bay but I've misplaced my brackets MickyJ is hunting for some at his gaff.


Still needs -

1.Mop/polish
2.Chrome side trims replaced with minters I've got stashed away
3.Drivers door still needs pulling out a few mm to sit flush with the wing
4.CDL wiring on drivers door needs re-done/re-taped etc
5.Window surrounds need painting satin black again - too many bits of white overspray on them
6.Drums and calipers need painting black again - white overspray !!
7.Probably the sills under the chrome strips painted black , not convinced with them in white tbh
8.Front inner arches need done in black too - they look good in white but it shows up all the welding etc ! Okay if you've got mint arches - I haven't !
9.Hoover !


But hey , we got it legal again and it's great to drive it after 2+years off the road , just doesn't look particularly good up close , bit too much filler/paint runs/overspray going on. Not a massive problem , just could have done without finishing off other peoples work
