Hello, welcome to the forum  Both very nice cars you have there, the Mini should fly with the new engine!! The Mini PCD is 4x4" (101.6mm) whereas the Golf is 4x100 so you will need adaptors or wobbly bolts to fit your Alleycats. Keep us updated with your progress  |

Nice mini mate!! Iv only got a 1275 for mine but it will be tuned...hopefully.lol. 1380 should fly! Looks ace.

well the alleycats have some washers built in them if i could get them out then they should fit on the golf fingers crossed lol

yeh the mini is my fav car had it since october last year its been off the road since march and probs wont see the road till march next year don't think I'm doing to bad considering I'm 17 LoL cheers for all the great comments keep them coming |

If they're as close as the Volvo 300 hubs you should be alright fitting yer mini rims to the Golf - theres a few people running minilites on 340's (4x100) at the moment which seem to go on fine.
Nice Mini btw, that is an absolutely gorgeous colour - will look good with some more black accenting.

whats the name of the mini colour? is it one of the later mini colour, i cant remember what its reminds me of for the life in me. looks great and will be an absolute rocket with the 1380. what are u doing to it suspensionwise, I'm guessing ur running hilos or adjusta rides at the moment??

yes mate atm I'm just running adjustable shocks but ill upgrade to lightweight rear beam with coilovers all around
and as for the colour I really don't know the colour as I bought it like it I think its 1 off as ive never seen a mini like it in my life its a wierd colour as you can tell when the suns out it looks mad and when the sun isnt out it looks dull

can you buy the superlite wheels? for a mk1 golf?or just make some adaptors?when i say superlite i mean they are about 13'' have about 9/10 silver spokes set deepish into the rim and are sometimes on old corolla twincam coupes.anyone know what i mean,alos they ive seen them on a lot of minis

well seeing as I'm only 17 i cant see myself being insured on the road so ill be just be abusing it on the track when there is track days on and my dad is more than welcome to use it on the road if he wants ;D
also got the block back today from being bored to 73.5mm for my omega pistons and had the head skimmed aswell will post pics later
