Sweet baby Jesus and the orphans...That's almost perfect.
I can offer a kidney, vgc, 22 years old, worth a genuine £3,500-4,200 if you have the right buyer...

Top grammar tips! Bought = purchased. Brought = relocated Lose = misplace/opposite of win. Loose = your mum

These were the pictures that were sent to me by Paul, when he went to see the car. Sorry about the quality. I could see the potential and just had to buy it ;D It had been in there for many years and was reluctant to come out Garage was partly carperted This is what it looked like after a good clean and before I started my mods . I still have the cosmics and the 165/70/14 . Great suspension travel and heaps of positive camber at the front. Car is still on its original paint and panels

So,..... those adjustable coilovers,.... do they go down any further? They do ;D, but at the moment the fronts are bottoming out. So the plan is to shortern the front struts and use Golf GTi inserts to remedy this. The pictures are the start of the thread when we just lowered it show how low it can go, but in reality living in suburbia means that you have to encounter speed bumps etc. Good stuff,.. whilst I really like the car, it does look like it could do with another inch or so out the arches to get that stance bang on ... Being adjustable means you can wind them down for shows and have a comfortable ride the rest of the time ... definatly something I need to do on the B310, you using 280ZX struts?

Ha ha ;D, you can never be low enough.( the car is already over 60mm lower than standard!) I agree, to get the stance right it could do with another 25mm drop and it would only take about 1/2 hour to do that with the adjustable coilovers all round. This however will only happen once I have revisited the front struts as they bottom out at current settings, so will get worse if I go lower. I did not use 280ZX struts , but used the standard 610 struts and this is why I have the bottoming out problem. 280ZX struts are much shorter and would have been fine. I could not locate a decent pair of 280ZX struts and I was keen on getting it to C.A.R.S.

I know Will had a set just before CARS,.. but would have been cutting it very fine to get them on the 610,.. Definatly a feature car in the future

My mate had a very similar car at school. In N.Z the 180B SSS wasn't worth curse word so we thrashed it for a couple of years then sold it for scrap. Fun times though!

The 180bSSS are faily common in Australia and NZ and seem to live under 510's limelight. I believe there are six left on the UK roads, so its a rare car on these shores and in Europe too. I have a fair few people come up to me and say " my dad/uncle/neighbour used to have one of these when I was a nipper.......I wish we/he hadn't sold it etc etc" Maybe in 20 years time, I will be making the same statement when I see a Saxo? ;D
