I think thats running a bit rich fella ;D good work on straightening them.... I`d still order some new ones and fit them before you give it any real stick though yeah its still not set up at all hence the big fuel bills ;D the repaired valves will only be a temporary measure i have already ordered the new ones and the engine itself will be getting a full going over at the end of the season may even go with the 347ci stroker kit but for now looks like running the gas is out for this season still be good to see what it can do just on the motor though

got the van back together today and wet flatted and polished the front end. still got lots to do but need the workshop space for the kadett for next few weeks but drove it home and am happy to report no problems from the engine . it was nice to be able to get it out in the sun to so what the colour was like under natural light . i'm very happy with the new colours the purple is now much richer than the old colour and the pearl in the silver seems to work really well with the other colours looking forward to getting it finished again now : : : : : it was nice and sunny for about 20 mins while i took these pics and i had hoped it would stay nice when i brought the car home as it runs pretty near slick tires with the new Mickey Thompson street ET's on but it chucked it down about 5 mins before i left to get home . iwas expecting it to be an absolute animal on the way home and was pleasantly surprised to fine it actually not that bad they can break loose with ease in the wet but are alot better than people had told me ;D

Looking great! Looking forward to seeing it in it's new paint some time soon. Is it just me or is it leaning to the right a bit?? it leans over on launch as there's very little give in the engine mounts so when the engine torques up so does the car . still alot of setting up to do with it as yet so should be able to flatten it out a bit on the launch

whats the idea with the blue bar on the heads? better lubrication? its a stud girdle its for better stability at higher RPM stops the rocker studs bending or moving
