Looking good as ever there. Might sound like a daft question but what do you use for taking measurements when cutting the floor out like that and religning the axle, just a tape measure and level or do you have something more accurate? no it pretty much just a tape measure and the help of some datum points on the workshop floor . i have marked out the cars wheel base on the floor . the wheel base is now 1" longer than stock for more stabilty so in doing that i had to move the rear arches back by 1"

Nice one. I am guessing the coil overs go on the brackets on the inside of the links. Did you buy the links and axle brackets as a full kit. I presume the stepped washers you were talking about are to locate the links central in the holes as it seems a big hole for that bolt size

when i see builds at this stage i REALLY wish I'd have stripped mine down before I started rather than doing a bit at a time. I think it would have ben quicker and more beneficial to do it this way... ho hum. next time what I'm trying to say is this looks great ! hats off... no idea how you have the time tho.

I've got to agree with the Czechlover - It seems to be the logical conclusion of forty-odd years of street and customs.
Fantastic stuff, sir!

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

all up and rolling now made the shock mounts and fitted them today and made a temporary gearbox crossmember still waiting on a polly bush for the C4 box from the statesand i still need to sort out the sidways location for the rear axle but it rolls and steers now pulled it out of the workshop today for a much needed clear out of the workshop floor . the engine seems to be lighter than the 2.9V6 as the front suspension is the same as TNO was with the 2.9 but sits about 1.5" higher so theres a bit more work needed there .

Bloody hell mark. Thats wicked. Does it tie into the standard rails at the bulkhead? Did you weld the outriggers straight to the sills or have you put some strengthening in? I'd like to come over and have a look at that before you get the floor in but the rate you knock work out i don't think thats gonna happen ;D
