I actually quite like the teardrop alloys, especially fully polished. I think they suit the rocco well.

Mk1 Scirrocco shape is a great looker...IMO more stylish than the Mk2, though they can look cool too. I wonder how many current cars will look as good as that in 27 years time.

thought i'd update this a little. It now has a mk2 head which measn hydraulic lifters, bigger valves and i think a higher compression. It also has a set of phil's coilovers and I'm sorting some new wheels. More pics once the ride height is finalised ;D

I think that Rocco's are supremely cool. I love the colour of this one and the stance.
I've never seen one in person as we didn't get them here.

Nice car but what the hell happened to the wheels? You had them professionally dulled or something?

A year and a half of daily driven abuse, thats what ;D
There made from curse word alloy so dull real quick anyway. Once the new wheels are on they will be re polished and coated in a special resin and kept for next summer.

Yeah, that first photo was taken ages ago too, it was the only one i could find at the time. Unfortunately the daily abuse has started to take its toll a little on the paintwork too.
It was mint in that pic, better than new really, but ho hum, cant last forever. Its still very tidy, just very dirty too ;D

MK1 Rocco's is very difficult to find in good condition, I have two friends with this car, and the problem is as always with rost and all the work that follows... Here is a pitcure of Jan Tore's 75 Rocco TS, he also the previous owner of the norwegian 79 Polo posted in this forum as well... Beware of the Norwegian invasion...
