The reason I prefer 15's is exactly what SnoozinEuro just said. I have VERY stiff suspension and prefer the larger amount of rubber to take some of suspension duties. I currently have 195/45's on but once they are worn I'll probably go back to 195/50's.
SnnozinEuro, over here in the UK, its actually cheaper to get a decent set of 16's and 17's than 15's!! Due to the popularity of bigger wheel/tyre combo's.
