Grahams or whatever its called? i don't even know what that place is!
hopefully i'll get to fit those top mounts today, after having an off on my bike at the weekend and destroying my knee!

haha cheers. the mousemat is a pic from about 8yrs ago when i navigated on my first event in a vauxhall nova. ive fitted my alloy top mounts today and set them to max camber. cant give a genuine figure because the camber guage was having a day off

polos same shape as mine check for signs of head gasket failure, back arches can be a trap for rot, and fuel tanks quite commonly go pourous/rotten and leak.
i don't know what salzmann ones are like, all i know is the turn in is faster! they also do away with that castleated nut and that curse word top cap thing

I don't know what salzmann ones are like, all I know is the turn in is faster! they also do away with that castleated nut and that curse word top cap thing Damn, i'll just have to see how I get on with the Salzmann ones. Paid nearly as much as yours are new from G-laderseite! Ah well.

well ive not exstensively tested them yet, will be going for a blat later today.
i'd buy them purely because they're much better design and quality than the standard rubber ones, the steering is actually lighter because they have proper spherical bearings in and theres less resistance

dropped the back end down to its lowest setting today. "gangsta lean". apparently this is how your meant to run the heights for tarmac. i personally think its too low on the back, will probably raise it a bit

would look good, but if the current height serves a good purpose, which I'm guessing it does, then defo stick to it, its not that bad to look at, and I'm sure its a lot better handling when rallying

yeh, its a compromise for mixed surfaces really, tarmac spec rear, gravel front. the idea is to put more weight over the rear axel to retain some handling balance and stop it being very twitchy!

yes i am alive!!! i've been away down south on work experience in kent, so heres whats been going down: golf gti mk2 stub axels, camber/toe shims and carriers i returned home to find a seal had gone on the rebound adjust on one of my avo front shocks, so cue these: bilstein grp N front dampers. 30mm dampers shafts! thats the rear as i got it back together today, new beam which has been shot blasted, zinc passivated and pated satin black, fitted with mk2 stubs, mk2 carriers, will have mk4 alloy calipers on as soon as my slider bushes arrive. then the fun bit: making the brake lines! this has cost me a fortune to be fair but worth doing in the long run. i've done everywhere upto the bulkhead in about an hour today. waiting for the drill to charge before i can move on.
